What are FLASH BANNERS?

flash/flsh/ ban·ners/ban-ners (Noun: Ads or dynamic graphic effects involving a series of animated motion, flashing lights and special effects encompassed in a swf file.

Flash Update:

Flash will eventually be a dead technology. Apparently Adobe announced that it is putting its future mobile video efforts behind HTML5. For those of you unaware what HTML is or let alone HTML5, it is what allows the internet to work more or less. In HTML 5's case, it will no longer recognize or play flash. This means there is no point to pay for flash effects or flash websites anymore. We do not know exactly when HTML 5 will be released but when it does flash will ceased to be recognized.

Why End Flash?

When flash came out is was all the hype. Interactive website effects and cool video players. However, once people realized the value of search engines like Google, they quickly discovered that the information in flash was not capable if being crawled by search engine bots. So if your online business depended on search engines to sell your products or services and you had a flash website, you were SOL! SO it makes sense in that regard to abandon flash in a website world.
